The All India Council for Open Education (AICOE) is founded with a clear mission to promote literacy and academic awareness across the country through non-formal, voluntary, and non-political educational initiatives. As an autonomous and independent trust, AICOE aims to empower individuals and communities to take part in organized, cooperative efforts that support alternative education, basic academic skills, and learning opportunities for all — especially those who are underserved or outside the mainstream education system.
