Scholarship
As a non-formal autonomous educational trust, the All India Council for Open Education (AICOE) may, from time to time, offer limited discretionary fee support or scholarship assistance to eligible learners under specific internal policies.
Scholarships, if offered, are subject to the following general conditions:
- Students from economically weaker sections, including those from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), may be considered for fee waivers or refunds upon submission of valid income and identity proof, at the discretion of the Council.
- Meritorious students who have secured 93% or above in their previous qualifying examination may be consideredfor up to 100% discretionary scholarship, subject to verification and availability of internal resources.
- Deserving students irrespective of category or background may be considered for up to 50% fee concession, based on merit and recommendation from authorized Centres or
- All applications for scholarship or fee assistance are reviewed case- by-case, and the final decision lies with the internal scholarship committee of AICOE.
- No student shall be entitled to claim a scholarship as a matter of Availability of scholarships is limited and non-obligatory.
